I want to thank everyone for 2011, while I played and decided which direction I wanted to take with my store. Many of you emailed me with product requests and I hope you were happy with the surprises you received for your effort. I was so encouraged by my sales and the efforts you made to purchase items from my shop. Well despite critics, I have decided to go with my original plan and hope you will stick with me during this month of February while I make those changes.
There are so many online craft stores to choose from that I did not want to become like all the rest. Really, most people shop where the prices are the best. I don't know that I will always be the best on prices but I do know that I will carry items that no other store dares to carry.
For years, I have collected stamps and dies and now want to share them with others. Where else but auction/listing sites can you find retired PSX stamps, retired Stampin Up sets or even retired Sizzix or Quickutz dies, just to name a few. It seems that shopping is divided up into the new and the old. So, I am breaking all the rules!
So at Scouts Place the old and the new come together in one great shopping experience. I hope you will be as happy with this new format as I am bringing it to you. I cannot wait to share all the goodies that I have searched for and horded for years.
No, I will not be carrying every new item on the market but I will be carrying products that I love and use. Products that I feel confident in selling and assisting you with their use. Except for Flower Soft, all brands are made in the USA.
I am still working on changing the shipping fee schedule so please bare with me. Currently the only way to get accurate shipping when buying more than one item is to email your order to me at bobbie@scouts-place.com. All orders over $45 ship for free with the exception of the purchase of my favorite die cutting machine the Quickutz epic6. Currently I do not ship internationally without notification prior to purchase so please email me if you live outside the US.
So I hope you will stay with me as I embark on all the changes planned for Scouts Place. You will still get the great personalized service and fast shipping that was the hallmark of my store for the last year. I hope that there will be many others like me that appreciate the new and old. I hope you will find it relaxing to find new favorites and rediscover old friends. As always I am only an email away.
